Wish Upon A Wedding

I am incredibly excited to tell you all about Wish Upon A Wedding, the first and only wedding wish granting organization! The non-profit grants wishes for weddings across the nation to individuals with terminal illness...the concept being that two people in love shouldn't be denied the chance to marry their soul mate, even if they only have a short time left to live.

Because I believe it in so much, I am also a member of the board for the Chicago chapter! You can read more about this meaningful organization below, but I want to let you know that if you're interested in getting involved, there are numerous ways. This week we're trying to raise awareness as much as possible, so blog and tweet away! Aside from that, donations are always welcome and we are in need of wish granters across the nation. Check out the website for more info on how you can help.

Are you in Chicago and interested in learning more about our chapter? You can follow us on facebook, and stay tuned for details on our upcoming launch party March 24th! Brides and vendors alike are welcome to join us and celebrate the launch. Please just email me if you have any questions.

I’ve been reading all about this incredible organization and want to get involved! Do you know whether anyone is working to start a D.C. chapter yet? Is there anyone I can contact about it? If you happen to know, feel free to email me at htwarren@aol.com.
