Digital Fabric

Please excuse the shameless tooting of one's own horn that is about to ensue...but...I was able to take part of the damask pattern from our fabric and get it into digital format! It was really much easier than I thought, thanks to Adobe Illustrator, but I am still just so excited to have it! I don't want to go overboard with the use of the pattern but I would love to incorporate it into our stationery in subtle ways. If anyone has illustrator and wants instructions on how I did it, just let me know!

How beautiful!!! I am so impressed! If I go with the black and white combo I am going to have to hit you up for some graphic how-to, patterns, and find out where you got that AMAZING fabric!!

I WISH I had Illustrator. As if I need another way to spend my time...

But if I ever do get it - even if in five years - you can bet I'll be emailing you. Nice job!

Oh. My. Goodness! I am so impressed! I want to know how to do this. You definitely need to use it in some way as a finishing touch on stationary or other things. You could make it a watermark to use on your program, or tie it in to your guestbook somehow...or your wedding website! So many possibilities. I can see why you wouldn't want to go overboard... Teach me, oh master! I have Illustrator and want to learn.

Holy crap I did the exact same thing with the exact same fabric! Except mine are brown. I had them put onto a rubber stamp and am embossing the design on our invitation belly band!
